As a professional and family-run establishment, we take pride in our legacy of excellence.

Atlantis Dive Center is a members of the two most renowned scuba diving organizations worldwide, PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) and SSI (Scuba Schools International). We are also Members of ANDI and Cousteau Divers. This prestigious affiliation reflects our commitment to the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism in every aspect of our operations. Letting our students choose to which they want to affiliate.

WHEN AND WHERE

Our location in Oia, renowned for its charm and beauty, sets the stage for an awe-inspiring experience. As you embark on your underwater exploration, you will be surrounded by Santorini’s breathtaking.

Our meeting point is at our Office in Oia, very close to the Post Office, accessible by car. (maybe a little map of the village).

From there we drive you to Amoudy Port, where our boat will be waiting for a 5minute ride to Armeni Bay, there is our dive base with all the equipment, right in front of the sea.

Apostolos Stylianopoulos and Marta Fortes Vilaltella, the passionate owners of Atlantis Dive Center, embody our dedication to creating unforgettable underwater adventures.

Apostolos Stylianopoulos

Instructor

With a remarkable 25 years of experience on this picturesque island, Apostolos possesses an intimate knowledge of Santorini’s hidden treasures both above and below the surface. As an IDC PADI Staff Instructor, SSI Assistant Instructor Trainer, and Greece’s first Cousteau Diver Instructor, Apostolos has cemented his reputation in the diving world. Furthermore, his expertise extends beyond diving, as he also conciliate this activity with his School for Speedboat Captains in Santorini, as the trainer Instructor.

Marta is a recreational diver and shares Apostolos’s passion for the sea. She has a background in Education Field, with two Degrees, one in Primary School Teaching and the other in Psicopedagogy, as well as three Masters, including a specialization in Emotional Intelligence, Marta brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work.

At Atlantis Dive Center, we invite all diving enthusiasts, regardless of their skill level. We offer programs for both, from those who are taking their first plunge into the underwater realm to advanced divers.

With a seamless blend of expertise, guidance, and unparalleled experiences, we ensure that every diver, at any stage of their journey, finds their perfect aquatic sanctuary with us. Allow us to unlock the wonders of the underwater world.

Green Philosophy

Atlantis Dive Center is one of the few Cousteau Dive Centers in the world, which highlights our commitment to protecting the environment, especially regarding our island. We have been trying since 2010, together with Pierre-Yves Cousteau, to establish a Marine Protected Area on the coast of Santorini. Many steps have already been completed, and we hope to achieve our final goal soon.

Our team has taken part of project Hermes – Cousteau Divers since June 2023, monitoring the sea temperature. Also University of California SD and Institute for Polar Science, Venice, we participate in the fourth sampling campaign in the Mediterranean sea to monitor synthetic microplastic from textile.
